Sunny Art Studio is founded by Yinjie Sun, an experienced artist who graduated in Fine Art from both the China Academy of Art and Central Saint Martins College of Art. Yinjie exhibits extensively both throughout the UK and internationally; his work has been displayed in Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Royal College of Art, Ourense Museum in Spain, Today Art Museum Beijing, The Sunshine International Art Museum in China, and his work has appeared in numerous publications which includes BBC, China News, The National Museum of China, People Daily Newspaper, Art China, and is represented in public and private collections in Britain and worldwide.
Much of Yinjie Sun’s work is strongly influenced by his life in China, by religion, poetry, and opera. In his opinion, art is elevated and his artworks should represent the aesthetic and philosophic value of art. His finished works are vivid and emotive. He inherits traditional skills from old masters’ paintings; and at the same time he integrates a lot of new painting techniques into his works. This gives him the ability to inject a great deal of passion and emotion into works, depicting current day life which is rarely found in many modern works.
